In the world of gaming, it takes an enormous plow to plow under the
closed-source games and attitudes in order to plant the seeds of freedom and
the open-source philosophy. Enormousplow.com is hoping to play a part in that
process.
It is our goal to continue developing and honing our skills all the while
churning out fun, playable games. Our first game, Free Fallin' Fred: Open His
Chute or He'll be Dead, was a proof of concept game for us. That game taught
us how to use open source libraries, how to cross-compile for other OS's, how
to use autoconf and automake, how to make man pages, and even how to make deb
files. So while the game is actually quite simple and even boring, it allowed
us to learn what we needed to know to move on to bigger and better projects.
Still even as simple and boring as that game is, we continue to be amazed at
just how many people download it every day.
